The learner can
1. Use simple language related to everyday or work topics. (S1.1)
1.1 Construct simple sentences using main verbs.
1.2 Use social conventions according to context.
1.3 Use simple forms such as questions, negatives, requests.
1.4 Use simple linking words such as: and, but, as, etc.
1.5 Use simple grammatical structures as appropriate, such as: genders, plurals, adjectives, etc.
1.6 Use an appropriate structure to convey what a person can, must or wants to do.
1.7 Use appropriate pronunciation.
2. Use simple information about everyday or work topics. (S1.1, S1.2, L1.1, L1.2)
For each of at least two topics:
2.1 Give at least four pieces of information.
2.2 Ask at least two questions.
2.3 Give at least two opinions.
3. Convey simple instructions related to everyday or work topics. (S1.1, S1.2)
3.1 Give at least two simple instructions related to a routine task or activity.
4. Request and give simple information related to everyday or work activities in varying tenses. (S1.1)
4.1 Outline at least three simple actions or events carried out in the past.
4.2 Give at least three simple pieces of information about future activities.
5. Understand simple information related to everyday or work topics. (L1.1, L1.2)
For each of two topics:
5.1 Identify at least three pieces of information, including at least one opinion, from one or more conversations.
5.2 Extract at least three specific details from one or more clear and simple announcements, presentations or messages.
5.3 From one or more topics identify at least three past actions or events.
