To develop knowledge and skills to produce artwork through drawing.

||Assess the use of drawing techniques in artwork using feedback from:
A plan for art work through drawing will include:
- identifying the elements of the brief
- making a personal response to the brief • the selection of a surface
- the selection of tools
- the selection of drawing materials
- the selection of drawing techniques.
Artwork may be evidenced by one or more drawings.
Drawing materials must include:
- pencil (in two or more grades)
- charcoal (in two or more grades)
- coloured pencils
- drawing surfaces.
Drawing techniques must include:
- three point perspective
- monochrome drawing
- polychrome drawing
- using a view finder
- point and line measuring to assess proportion and to change scale
- measuring grid to change scale and/or distort images
- continuous line drawing
- ‘blind’ drawing
- ‘other hand’ drawing.
