Purpose and Aim:

To introduce knowledge and skills for making crochet motifs.

 

LEARNING OUTCOMES ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
The learner will: The learner can:
1.  Be able to crochet motifs.
1.1 Identify the stitches in:

  • square motifs
  • round motifs
  • hexagonal motifs.
1.2 Create square motifs:

  • with different yarn thicknesses
  • with coloured yarn.
1.3 Create round motifs:

  • with different yarn thicknesses
  • with coloured yarn.
1.4 Create hexagonal motifs:

  • with different yarn thicknesses
  • with coloured yarn.
2.  Be able to join crochet motifs.
2.1 Join crochet motifs using:

  • slip stitch
  • double crochet
  • chain loops
  • hand stitching.
